“My intention today and everyday is to be passionately pursuing His presence. I desire to share my love for music, but more importantly, to share my love for the one who gives the music, Jesus.” – Brett Rush
The passion of singer, songwriter, and Pastor Brett Rush is evident in everything he does. Perhaps this explains his accomplishments for the Kingdom in such a short time. He planted Shiloh Community Fellowship, an inter-denominational fellowship, which he has been serving for more than a decade as lead pastor and worship leader. Brett confesses, “I was created to worship, and I am called to preach.”
Brett began touring the country and other parts of the world as a worship leader in 2005, shortly after the unexpected radio response to his song, “Wash Me Away” written as a personal prayer during his own worship time. God has enabled him to write dozens of inspired songs, captured on three full-length albums- “Invitation,” “Everything I Am,” and the recently released “We Believe.” Brett has had several songs climb the Christian Radio charts and has sung and preached in hundreds of churches and other venues over the last ten years.
Brett’s songs encourage us to recognize the unlimited resource we have in Christ.
Brett credits Don Potter and his music for inspiring him to passionately pursue Christ. He also cites Mac Powell of Third Day and Jeremy Camp as primary musical influences. Brett’s record label is CreativeSoulRecords.
